21 Day Fast – Message from General Overseer

21 Day Fast – 06 Jan to 27 Jan 2020

Message from the General Overseer

We thank God for bringing us to the threshold of another year which holds seeds of great blessings breakthroughs and benefits for us It is equally an opportunity for us to set aside quality time to intensify our prayers through fasting as we wait for direction and counsel from the Lord who is Omnipotent and Omniscient We have not been this way before and we need him every single moment of this new year.

Blow the trumpet in Zion sanctify a fast call a solemn assembly Gather the people sanctify the congregation assemble elders gather the children and those that suck the breasts let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber and the bride out of her closet Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, spare thy people O lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them, wherefore should they say among the people.

Where is their God Then will the Lord be jealous for his land and pity his people Yea the Lord will answer and say unto his people Behold I will send you corn and wine and oil and ye shall be satisfied therewith and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen (Joel 2 v 15-19)KJV

As we enter our year of excellence we must get on our knees and ask for God to visit us with his goodness and also manifest his power to make a distinct difference between us and those who don’t belong to him.

It will call for great sacrifice and total mobilization from the least to the greatest. It is only when we give this time of fasting the importance it deserves that we will see the hand of God at work for us God will then answer and prosper us. He will also protect us so we will not be a prey to our enemies

During this time of waiting on the Lord we must humble ourselves and put away any habits that prevent us from serving God fully and relating truthfully to each other. Fasting must lead to humility and such humility will release Gods provision (2 Chronicles 7 v 14) Our land is crying for healing and fasting with prayer and humility will trigger Gods healing

In this year we are expecting to experience Gods bounty in every area of our live and this will be reflected in generosity, fruitfulness breaking of curses and ending of delays in receiving our miracles (Isaiah 58 v 6-8)

It is time to loose the bonds of wickedness so that the innocent will be preserved; it is time to undo the heavy burdens so that the people of God will come to a place of rest; it is time to release the oppressed from the servitude of evil doers; it is time for every yoke to be broken by the anointing we receive as we wait on the Lord as a body.

This year God’s glory must be seen through us; we must walk in perfect health and we will enjoy these as we are very generous especially during this time of fasting and prayer.

Let us remember that there are certain situations that can only be resolved by fasting and prayer (Matthew 17 v 21) We are therefore trusting God to perform great miracles and deliverances and to end any delays to the answers of our prayers . This must be our year of Jubilee!

May God give us direction as we humble ourselves through this season of fasting and prayer .May our lives be preserved and may he supply all our needs.

It is a year during which we will need to depend fully on hi

m to make a way for us because he alone knows the end from the beginning
